It's like, you just can't! unless you do the double-box set thing which is like ooo, y'know..I'm only, y'know what I was saying. the world won't understand and so um they get very snippity with me sometimes. It's like, 'oh why'd you put her on, I'm waving, sh-sh-sh-she's a piece of shit. I'm really hot!' It's like, you just didn't fit on. 'Well why didn't I fit on I am like hotter than she is I'm way cooler than she is!' so you know this girls. you're trying to kiss the guy, right. you're like getting it, you know how you're like this close and it's like you're breathing in and you're like breathing them in...and it's like: oh this is gonna be yummy. 'Why didn't you put me on the record! nehnehneh!'...so this is one of them. she is so annoying! but I totally love her."

“Honey was going to be on the album, but I knocked it off. But Honey was ok with it. She was ok, she really was. We had a long talk about it. Because believe it or not, she’s getting great status as a b-side. People love her. So she’s getting all this praise because she’s a bit of an underground song. She’s a bit of a cult song, so she kind of loves this attention. She’s getting more attention than she would if she were on the album. I think everything has its place.”

“This is my favourite song from Under the Pink but the thing is, it’s not on Under the Pink because it got kicked off at the last minute in mastering ’cause I’m such a ding-a-ling. Anyway, she’s my favourite and it’s like, ya know...”

Honey is much more malleable, Honey is willing to go anywhere she needs to, but her energy was really covered by Past The Mission. They both have the New Mexican vibe. Record executives tried to talk me into putting Honey on the album instead of Space Dog. I said I won't even discuss it 'cause if you don't get Space Dog, it's not even worth talking about it. You are either talking into your frozen peas, 'come in lemon pie, come in lemon pie, get me out of this horrible Thanksgiving moment of life' or you're not. You are either in touch with lizard people or you are not. Honey, she is like homecoming queen. I think she is so loved by all the other girls that she didn't have to be on the record, but you will see Honey soon."

"Sometimes I used to think of, when I was writing Under The Pink...I was in New Mexico. Most people don't understand what it looks like. You kinda do because you have a similar thing. "This next song should have ended up on the album, Under the Pink, and I'm sure you've heard me tell this story, but it literally was on the album, but I threw it off in mastering which is the final stage. That's sort of like, you know, you just don't...do that. That's one of those moments, that if you are ever in this circumstance you need to say, 'you know what? I'm going to go have some nachos and I'm going to sit down and I'm going to come back tomorrow. Because when you do something like that you are a total idiot. So this is my favourite song probably on that album, and nobody got to hear it, so here it is."
